I was going to use a ppa, but since I'm still figuring out launchpad I couldn't get it to accept the changes file I was using. I think I have figured out the problem and I'll use that in a future. The fix is right, because it fixes the problem, and so far we can consistently reproduce the problem

In order to test this I connected to my Nokia N9. At first, I got a Connection refused message, but then after issuing sudo hciconfig hci0 sspmode 0 on the command line, I was able to browse my phone using gvfs-1.10.0-0ubuntu2+jml3. I suspect using gvfs-1.10.0-0ubuntu2 would result in dbus
