Scott, what systems do you mean? ubuntu-desktop xubuntu-desktop depend
on desktop-file-utils and software-center. kubuntu-desktop does not.
I've contacted the Lubuntu community as this may affect them.
Any third-party derivatives ought to pay attention to the desktop-file-

If you doubleclick the column separator, mouse pointer changes to left-
right arrow and you cannot click on anything AT ALL until you kill
brasero. This is a serious bug that might give the appearance of Ubuntu

fine for me with symlinks.

I can also confirm that is fixed in 3.4.2; it's not actually fixed in
Quantal yet as Nautilus 3.5.2 (which also contains the fix) isn't due
for release for a couple weeks.

GTK3 in the same process, this bug won't be fixed until Epiphany
supports out-of-process plugins. That might happen for Epiphany 3.6 or
