I experience this problem in all kinds of editors (LibreOffice, RStudio, Evolution, Kate), and also sometimes when creating screen dumps to the clipboard (ctrl+shift+print screen). I also thought it was connected to Clipboard Indicator, but it didn't help de-activating it. But, hopefully good
