This is very annoying, I just tried copying a 800MB ISO file to my
Cruzer Fit 16GB USB stick. It does like 10MB/s max and despite that
Nautilus indicated average transfer speed ~40MB/s, the progress bar went

This happens almost always at cold start (VLC not sitting in system tray or
has not been used recently);
this happens very frequently then vlc switches to the next song in playlist or
then vlc drops the stream and re-buffers.
I've tried default and pulseaudio audio output
Fixed,
in Volume Control I selected other sound cards in the list while I had
music playing and found the correct sound card.

I have this issue also, have tried a fresh install with todays daily
image.
Can press Add Printer button and get the printer identified but fails to
complete the install.

On a fresh install on Raring, Banshee is having trouble playing more
than one mp3 file.
Starting Banshee fresh allows it to play a single mp3, but then it gets
to the next one and freezes, requiring a force quit.
The log message comes up with something like this:
