the following trick advised by Sami:
a. Add to rc.local
echo 0x1e 0x99130112 /sys/class/sound/hwC0D0/user_pin_configs

b. Add options snd-hda-intel model=asus-mode4
What would be useful first would the xrandr output for each of the LVDS
/ TV configurations you try - just to verify that the display manager is
doing as commanded. Then a drm.debug=6 (echo 6
/sys/modules/drm/parameters/debug) dmesg of that procedure (i.e. enable
debug before starting the display

I really don't see why it is so resource hungry, even the KDE program
(which is not really native on Gnome) is much faster and efficient (and
