the phablet scripts, our mtp stack doesn't handle conflicting access
well. That's happening as well with mtp music players where
rhythmbox/gvfs conflict in a similar way.

The error occured short (1-2 Min.) after booting, I did not run
Tom Haddon: This does not work for me. I lock screen (ctrl-alt-l), unplug
monitor. Then screen corruption is visible. I put in password, and get back to
corrupted desktop on one screen.

I am getting the bug of repeated warning messages about a GPU lockup that did
not in fact occur.
This was reported in Bug #s 983640 and 975624.
This problem was supposed to have been fixed in Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal).
However, I am running quantal, with the latest updates,

Yeah, there is something different about the GUI notification at the
end. It is triggered via DBus, and root just can't use the user's DBus
session.
The true fix for this is to add policykit support to gvfs, so that you
don't have to run the whole of deja-dup as root, but rather, deja-dup
can
