When you change workspace, your apps are left on previous workspace. To
return to that workspace, you should click on the workspace indicator or

Seems solution in #68 solved the problem for me.
I installed 14.04 recently and suffered from this problem along with the other
(often my Xubuntu failed to suspend/reboot/shutdown at all).

Graphical glitches with SNA

In a relatively new update I was able to get perfect sound - apart from
the small problem at start-up entering in the terminal sudo modprobe
snd-hda-intel (but I'm not dealing with this at hand - it's the fact on

After system upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04, this problem has happened:
System Settings window is too small. I cannot see any options in this window,
no icons, nothing. I cannot adjust any settings right now. Moreover, the window
cannot be re-sized or maximized.

unclear.
Cracking/stuttering/glitchy audio on Linux Lite
Ubuntu 12.04 update fixed the same problem
