If the system has two (or more) users and I click another username from
the indicator but instead I select my current logged-in user and write
the password the lock screen blinks and asks for the password a second
time.
Unfortunately this is the way NetworkManager works. It's goal is to
establish a network connection using the highest priority device and
connection available. Success is defined as connection established and
networking configuration successful ( ie. IP address assigned, routing
table setup, ...
Oh, sorry, forget my previous comment. Are you really on Ubuntu 12.04?
Gnome-terminal there is known to contain these kinds of display bugs,
these were fixed in subsequent versions.

Problem seems to be solved from Ghostscript 9.16 on as it only happened
with 9.15. 9.16 is used in Wily (15.10), so an upgrade to this Ubuntu
version will most probabvly fix it.
The problem happens only with the "cups" output device of Ghostscript.

Okay, some more research done today, and I also talked to Juho @
Jolla/Sailfish about it, because they would probably suffer from the
same problem.
It's somewhat of a misdesign or broken thinking, I believe. In short, Qt
allows the app to set the volume of its sounds. This is an important

The results are in: I was unable to boot the daily image to desktop with
modesetting turned on, the OS froze just as it reached the desktop;
ctrl-alt-f1 didn't take me to a TTY. With modesetting off I was able to
reach the desktop but the display settings tool didn't display any
external screen

after upgrading, tap-to-click no longer works by
Hallo,
i'm using another pc, a desktop one, running a dual boot, both mint rebecca
CHINNAMON and ?MATE?. The old NB has a new HD with MS OS only, upgraded from XP
to 7. Once in a while i also run a not persistent live pen drive with lubuntu,
and external disks with Debian. Kubuntu, Ubuntu...

My computer freezes randomly a couple of times a day. Sometimes I can log in
using ssh from another computer, do a shutdown -r, but that then hangs also.
What I've experienced in the last hour is that the computer slowed down and
stopped, I had an ssh shell window open on
@laney that definitely fixes my pidgin and appears to fix gedit too..

I can't reproduce it in gedit or pidgin any more with the PPA glib.

The yellow marked is the plug for a mini sub woofer device. I configurated
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
