Dear all,
In this package, a random seed is used for generation key for obfuscating a
fingerprint image in uru4000 driver.
Unfortunately, it seems that the seed always exhibits the same sequence of
numbers each time since it is generated from rand() in libc by default.

I think it's too early for this to be a release bug. A bunch of fixes
are still awaiting upstream review, some require more upstream work by
me, and the final one needs to be rewritten completely after so re-

Done. I changed a couple things since reporting this though. I stopped
setting the screen positions in the initial commands I posted. I booted
with no monitor attached, without running the script, then connected the
monitor and ran it (again, without settings positions) and sent the
report while

Can you clarify what "did not do anything" means? Because if you have
uninstalled package i965-va-driver then it should be impossible to
encounter the crash mentioned above. If not doing anything means that
totem still hangs then the cause of the hang is likely something
different again.
P.S.
No problem. Sometimes the installed packages can get into a tangle
during updates if there's a problem with one of them. It sounds like
that is fixed.

Since we're updating the rest of GNOME to 3.32 (including glib and
gobject-introspection), it seems like it would be a good idea to update
pygobject also.
- 3.31.4-1 is in Debian experimental
The 0.8-series was affected by this (as I mentioned above, fixing the
underlying problem avoids this error and a number of these have been
fixed, so it is harder to trigger).
I have just proposed a fix for it be merged into the 0.8-series:
I faced this problem first when I was using skype and zoom. Both in shared
screen mode.
Using Android Emulator, my Ubuntu are crashing too.
Just only when I change the Workspace.

I have to say that this bug is a dissapointment. The whole samba support
in Ubuntu since 18.04 is abysmal. Prior to this, I was able to access
shares with no problems, now there is a problem. The bug has been posted
one year ago. After changing the protoocol, I discovered I needed to

Maybe lock screen should always happen before the screen turns off?
Or, anytime lock screen happens it should also turn off the monitors?
Is there any work around that I can apply?
My cron job trick no longer works:

All monitors go off initially, but as soon as the lock-screen happens,
my laptop's built-in monitor comes back on and stays on forever. This is
an expensive 4K monitor and this bug is burning it up.
The only work-around I've found is to turn off
