Also hitting this issue after upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04. The proposed
workaround doesn't work for me either.
I always have a Yubikey 5 Nano plugged into my device.
The workaround to be able to login is to remove the Yubikey, then I can use the
username and password, very annoying procedure for

In the newest Ubuntu stable release (22.04), gnome 42.2, gnome calendar
41.2 does not sync calendar events from google calendar through GOA. But
when an event is created in gnome calendar, it is synchronized with
google calendar. So the synchronization works only in one
Thunderbird has gotten really balky, so I decided to try Evolution.
Bad News. I have no trouble with Thunderbird, which Autoconfigures
accounts nicely, but Evolution pops up this error, so I can NOT set up
any accounts and my solution is: I'm NOT changing from Thunderbird.

Okay so we know we have a bug. Is this just going to sit here forever
without further investigation and resolution? Ubuntu took Debian's
testing fontconfig package and patched it without any change log.

Not really. It's just that the vainfo bundled in the snap is from the
focal deb which is 2.6 and what it reports as 'libva version' is just
its own version. If you wget the vainfo from impish in the snap it will
tell libva
