I only tested a 13th gen U chip in the above comment. It looks like 13th
gen P chips should be supported so long as:
intel-media-driver >= 22.3.1+dfsg1-1ubuntu2 (per bug 2004237)
which it looks like snaps are shipping with now.
Newer Intel 14th gen and Ultra chips might not be supported yet,
[Expired for gnome-shell (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for
60 days.]

Verified working in firefox (Wayland) on both Intel 12th and 13th gen
systems. intel_gpu_top shows hardware video decoding is in use straight
out of the box when viewing YouTube. The firefox snap versions tested
were 122.0-2 and 122.0-2.1, both Noble systems.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1813171, so is being marked as such.
I will retest this once i have access to the problematic computer (it is
a work desktop)
The problems appears all the time, only thing that displays it within
screen bounds is changing resolution to 1080p.
Reboot does not fix the issue, it is present in login screen as well.
