since my last post.
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a/integrated/SSE2
I can confirm that 0.9.11.3+14.04.20150313-0ubuntu1 in Trusty Proposed has
fixed the issue for me.

Nautilus since 3.8.0 completely ignores .desktop files that contain
NoDisplay=true, which is used in Ubuntu
This bug is not related specifically to Wine, it affects all of the
open with mime bindings in Saucy's Nautilus 3.8
