Ubuntu 20.04 is clean install. some of the videos play sound and some do
not. I have no deep knowledge. In the web browsers both firefox and
chrome browser you in you tube normally no sound but one or two play
sound but not clear.I am not able to solve this issue . Due this
I do not think there is any security issue.

Thank you for the advice. When I was getting very very low sound in the
browsers while playing online, I googled and followed the guideline. I
do not find problem while playing anything from the hard disk with
installed apllications (with players), the problem is with online .

I am not able to play downloaded videos mp4 which are on the hard disk. Here
kindly note some are plaing some are not playing . I could not sort out the
reason. On windows 10 every thing is OK. It is dual boot system. Same thing
happened when I upgraded from 16.04 LTE
I find some of the videos will have no sound and some will have. All are
Mp4 videos. All these videos work well on windows 10. When I test the
speakers the testing shows normal.When I play on line YouTube videos,
there is no sound. Similarly if only online music or voice is played

WIFI network manager is creating problems. I have removed it. This
problem needs to be studied in genetal and needs improvement for correct
