Totem hangs on launch if multiple instances are opened at once
Status in “totem” package in
Its pretty common for me (I think my touchpad is a little wierd
handling mouse presses). I run into it nearly every day and it drives me
crazy :(
Is there any way we can fix it? Maybe someone could point me to the code
where unique instances is handled? I am not sure if totem still uses
I have two machines, one running 12.04 32-bit, one running 64. This
occurs for me, as well. It's rare, but it does happen.

Can also confirm this on 2 different machines with Ubuntu 12.04. This is
very annoying because you then have to kill the totem processes manually
to be able to use totem again.

Can confirm this on two different machines and on Unity2D and 3D. Issue
also exists on Quantal (Totem 3.4).
