When we initially moved to GNOME Software we considered using the updates page
as the primary means of updating. The issue is that GNOME Software is designed
to hide a lot of the package details that update-manager shows. So we need to
resolve if we:
- Are happy hiding all package details from
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Thank you for your suggestion. That would be nice indeed but lot of work
and not a priority at the moment though

also i think three separate applications/icons to manage the software
are not nice on the menu
