this was good for me too:
| Deleting my user profile fixed the problem:

| mv ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user-old
The error was generated launching libre from root prompt.
After that only root could open libre.
the mv solve problem.
This is definitely related to the user profile, deleting it fixes the
problem for a day or two.
