That might be an amdgpu-specific issue. Sadly it doesn't seem common
enough to show up in the top 100 gjs crashes for 22.04:

Bug description:
  Every time I try to record a screencast via the built-in feature
  triggered by Ctrl+Alft+Shift+R, it starts recording successfully but
  when I click the stop button, the recording stops and nothing is saved
  to ~/Videos/Screencasts. This happens with both Wayland and Xorg
  sessions.
