that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been
Users would be comforted knowing that there is still progress, also the
messages about copying files to target system and installing grub is
essential to be spoken. Some install times vary depending on hardware
and internet speed, it is hard to advise a user when the information
should be exposed
A couple of cycles ago, I put code into ubiquity to enable caret
browsing mode in the slideshow when the screen reader was in use, but
things don't work properly for some reason. I have yet to get around to
investigating why.

Orca doesn't read the ubiquity
The slides aren't images, so the slideshow shouldn't need to do much to
support a screen reader (assuming they're happy with dynamic content).
This comes down to our WebKit WebView widget, and I'm not sure where
accessibility is on that.
