Title:
Ubuntu 12.04: keyboard layout does not
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Can I use unity 2D, gnome-shell,
gnome-classic-NO-effect, or KDE? If so, where would I get them? I'm new to
Linux.
I have gnome failsafe which I tried using but it didn't correct the flash
player problem.

This bug coming only if you pressed F10 in terminal before exit. And
only if all system shortuts for F10 unbinded.
So, this bug brings the harm to midnight commander users :)

the username used to run lightdm = lightdm
UID= 999

That's weird, it did not happen to me when I installed 12.04. Did happen
on 11.10 but it was fixed after an upgrade (when the fix was released).
