I’m curious if any experimentation has been done with the `git cherry-pick`
command? This sounds like the ideal use case where it would preserve the
history and give the PR initiator co-authorship. You might have already
explored this, but just wanted to mention it. Here’s a small article

Docker Hub supports building in two ways:
1. Branch name
2. Tagging
A combination of the two could be effective.
Since they will live in separate branches, option 1 of building on any commit
to that branch is a straightforward. However, building on any/every commit to a
branch can lead to

As I was creating the 1.0.0 release, it occurred to me that we could automate
some of these steps needed for releasing. With that in mind, I created
age-release-helper here https://github.com/sorrell/age-release-helper
Right now it automates a few but not all of the steps needed for a release.
Dear Apache Community,
We would like to discuss the Apache AGE release 1.0.0 that we have been working
towards.

I think a cleaner model is to use git tags to tag a commit as alpha/beta/rc.
Then there is no question of which hash each branch is on as there aren’t
different branches. Also, the lineage is more easily traceable in a single git
log command.

I agree with this, and further tested your hypothesis on a Neo4j Docker
instance with a (linked below) Python script. I ran multiple tests, up to
10,000 iterations, and it was always right directed.

I agree with Jasper's response. My preferences would also be the same order:
Try to keep it arbitrary/random, else pick a direction. Option 1 of rejecting
the statement deviates from the spec and creates interoperability issues.

* The SVGs referenced in this file

+1. This project has matured a lot and provides the missing link to making
Postgres a one-stop-shop for all database needs. The team has done a great job
of building community around a valuable product. (This message was sent again

Because Docker builds can support multiple tags, I would propose that the
default `latest` tag point to the latest stable release and that version
tagging becomes explicit (i.e., 0.3.0) in the future AGE Docker images. I would
also propose a `dev` tag that points to the head of the chosen
