Yuqi Gu created BIGTOP-3909: ------------------------------- Summary: Define Bigtop 3.3 release BOM Key: BIGTOP-3909 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-3909 Project: Bigtop Issue Type: Bug Reporter: Yuqi Gu
I prefer release 3.3 instead of 3.2.1 for there may be some big changes in the next release: * New components like Ranger debian, bigtop-select (for Ambari) would be added into Bigtop support matrix. * Mpack would be removed if Ambari-2.8 was released first which integrated the Bigtop SW stack as its default stack. * OpenEuler support is under discussion. * Some components needed to be upgraded to fix some issues like gpdb. Components Let's discuss the component stack of the next release. {code:java} Components in v3.2 in v3.3 alluxio 2.8.0 => 2.9.1 bigtop-ambari-mpack 2.7.5 Removed bigtop-groovy 2.5.4 2.5.4 bigtop-jsvc 1.2.4 1.2.4 bigtop-utils 3.1.0 3.1.0 flink 1.15.3 => 1.16.1 gpdb 5.28.5 6.23.1 hadoop 3.3.4 3.3.4 hbase 2.4.13 => 2.5.3 hive 3.1.3 3.1.3 kafka 2.8.1 => 2.8.2 livy 0.7.1 0.7.1 oozie 5.2.1 5.2.1 phoenix 5.1.2 5.1.2 ranger n/a => 2.3.0 solr 8.11.2 => 9.1.1 spark 3.2.3 => 3.3.2 tez 0.10.1 => 0.10.2 ycsb 0.17.0 0.17.0 zeppelin 0.10.1 0.10.1 zookeeper 3.5.9 => 3.8.1 {code} h3.
