Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of advice here. The integration was
designed to work, but not evaluated for performance. If you're able to
do some profiling and understand where the slowdown lies, we may be
able to help.

We have integrated Cassandra with calcite with your given example and

compare to run in spark thrift server it is petty slow
