Hello,
I forked and cloned [1] to get a copy of EMM, built and ran it. I was able
to enter the management console as well.
However, this Management Console seems to be quite different from the binary
distribution that can be downloaded from the WSO2 website. It has less
features as well.

It all comes down to the proxy service you'd use to call the connector. It
will contain the sequences required to call the connector operation you'd
need. You need to invoke the proxy service's endpoint using your external
Java client.
