I'm sure if they open source HRD then interest for it would pick up.

Well you really got something going - over the last 24 hours I've seen six
continents, 43 countries and 194 stations.
Today being Saturday I expect to see a lot
I mean open-sourcing the code! It's a massive project which uses commercial
UI libraries from www.codejock.com and InstallShield for making kits, before
you can even compile you'll have to spend at least $3k on software licences
alone.
My plans for Q3/Q4 are a SDR console, this may be a better

Hello to all testers,
I have issued a new test version of Multipsk.
It contains the Multipsk test version, help files and a CW interface diagram:

Paste this adress in your Internet Explorer or equivalent. Download the file.

My initial tests seem to show that weak signals in ALE141 via PC-ALE do better
(decode) than ALE400 weak signals in Multipsk. It is not a scientific
comparison but just an observation, not a lot of ALE 400 soundings to get a
better comparison .
If I remember correctly, last year there reports
Andy,
Normally there is a gain of 5 dB on minimum S/N between one mode and another
(gain of 5 dB, simply due to a lower speed).
Have you checked your sound card calibration?

Thanks again, folks, for the Newb replies last month.
I've been busy dealing with some family health issues since then, but finally
got back to my Great Digital Communications Exploration this week. Today I
landed my first QSO! Got a 599 from Mexico right off the bat on my first
attempt.
