Jerry,
If it is a BuxComm, then the cable between the radio and the interface
is different for different radios
(as opposed to the West Mountain units which use an internal set of
configuration jumpers).
But often an entire series of radios by the same mfr will use the same
cable. Go to the
sure it will work but you have to use the audio in out for afsk (in ssb mode)
not the fsk for rtty
so the connector for external tnc would be the right one
there you will find audio in out , ptt, and ground
i don´t know if there is a menue setting for digital audio cause i don´t have
this rig
Hello Lew,
I plan on getting a Signal Link after reading the reports here, 99.00 is not
bad either. However that does not help Jerry here with the unit he is trying to
get to work or Identify it so he can get some documentation.

I'd like to get an idea of what the group thinks an appropriate filter choice
might be for me. I have an IC-746 (non-Pro) which currently has a 250 Hz and a
500 Hz in the 9 Mhz filter slots. I use the 250 Hz filter for CW and the 500 Hz
for PSK31 and RTTY. The 455 Khz filter slot is currently
Dave , I do not know anything about filters for the 746 but I do know
your current filters are good enough for...

Thanks to Tony and Vojtech I now have Contestia and RTTYM working. I'll send
some code etc. to Dave W1HKJ so that he can add these two modes to fldigi.
All-in-all a frantic few hours understanding how Olivia works, need a beer
or seven after all that !

All,
Thought this might interest the group
The path simulation tests below show how each mode might behave under the same
signal-to-noise / HF path conditions.
Modes included in each test group have approximately the same word-per-minute
rate -- for example: Olivia 16/500, RTTYM 64/500
Time to start using Contestia again ?
Maybe no need - cycle 24 has started now :)
