Hi Everyone,
I'm starting to dable in PSKMail and NBEMS. I guess you have to have
FLDigi running so that these programs can interface through it. I am
using Windows XP and a SignaLink USB sound card. FLDigi is version
2.12.4 for Windows and JPSKMail is version 0.3.7. I am having several
No, Ron. You need FLdigi for PSKMAIL and you also need it for NBEMS/FLARQ.
There are some alpha version recently released that do not crash as you
described. I'll look for the link and post it here. The wandering waterfall
is still an issue though. The RS ID issues has been fixed, I think.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that K4QO and others dies in a plane crash today.
Not sure who the others were/are.
22/10/2009: Once again Pete/W2GJ, Ed/K3IXD, Dallas/W3PP, and Randy/K4QO will
operate in the Multi-Operator, Two Transmitters (M/2) Class in the CQWW SSB
contest (24-25 October) as
http://www.w1hkj.com/alpha/
also PSKmail 0.3.8 ,
At the moment its available here:
http://www.crusefalk.se/jpskmailinstall/
There are three versions to choose from:
One for linux: jpskmail-0.3.8-Linux-x86-Install
One for windows: jpskmail-0.3.8-Setup.exe
One for Macs, BSD, Solaris etc:
No, I haven't. Haven't heard any RSID's for the past 2 days actually.

Randy and I communicated regularly via email and he invited me to visit him at
his home this summer. I regret that I did not have time to stop by his house
when passing through his area, I always assumed I could see him the next year.
Randy and I were also partners in some contests and we

Anyone heard from John W0JAB lately? It has been several months since he

know he had some health issues. I'm hoping he has just found other interests

That is a difficult choice Pat. I am an old Mixw user too, paid my many to
Nick many years ago.
My sense, no facts, is that Mixw is a dying product. It is a good product but
I just have a hunch that Nick has tired of the project and that it is not
likely to get the updates frequently
burn another CD Russell, perhaps you have a bad burn.
If you have a good burn, you simply load the CD from a system -reboot and then
Puppy will begin to load. It will set up basic drivers (mouse, keyboard,
video card, etc) automatically. It will give you a choice of display
