so manual operation with widths greater than 500hz are OK below 7100? In
other words if we are running 141A on 7096 , this would be OK, but automatic
sounding on this frequency would not be permitted in the US?

Yes, it is OK in the U.S. to have RTTY/Data stations operate below 7100
and wider than 500 Hz if operating between two stations with control
operators on each side. They can be physically present at the operating
point or by remote control.

has a strong birdie nearby so is not

When the FoF2 drops down to 1 or 2 MHz as we have been seeing, maybe 80
meters would work OK ? Here in the U.S. we do not have a wide bandwidth

Since all of us that have been using Pactor and Amtor
on 077 LSB for keyboarding.
