Primary responsibilities will consist of process development, implementation, and maintenance for a global Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007(SMS) environment. In addition, the candidate will help manage the full technical environment including systems administration responsibilities across a wide array of technical services. Essential Job Functions: • In-depth understanding of SMS 2003 configuration, maintenance, monitoring and operations in a distributed global enterprise environment • In-depth understanding and experience with System Center Operations Manager or previous incarnations. • Experience designing, maintaining, and managing SMS Infrastructures to include site configuration, resource discovery, client installation techniques, inventory management, remote control, resource pool management, application publishing, deploying windows updates, report generation, security management, backup and recovery procedures • Experience working with Microsoft Windows 2003 servers, Windows XP, clustered servers, IIS web services, Active Directory, Group Policy, WINS, DNS, DHCP • Excellent writing and communication skills and is able to create project plans, analysis documents, instruction sheets, and systems documentation for completed systems The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (SMS), System Center Operations Manager, Active Directory, and Windows Server 2003. *Duties include:* • Maintain, manage, optimize, and develop the SMS infrastructure • Actively monitor SMS clients health and perform corrective action accordingly • Actively manage SMS daily operations License Metering Asset tracking Workstation Patching Software packaging Package distribution Reporting • SMS Report Management • Design and implement SMS architecture • Overall understanding of software package development • Support Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure (DNS/WINS/DHCP/GPO) • Support Server image on different hardware platform • Provide Tier 3 level escalated support for SMS related issues • 24/7 on-call rotation schedule • System design and administration of Microsoft SMS 2003, SMS 2007 a benefit *Experience Required: *• Must have a minimum of 4 years working experience and intimate proficiency with Microsoft SMS 2003 (or beyond) administration and troubleshooting in a large-scale multi-site environment. • Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience and expert knowledge of Active Directory administration and troubleshooting. • Must have experience supporting desktop and mobile devices • Must have 3 years working experience supporting, maintaining and administering core Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2003. • Must have strong scripting skills and knowledge of Windows Powershell • Sound working knowledge and experience with System Center Operations Manager or Microsoft Operations Manager. • Sound working knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies including security features. • Sound working knowledge of network infrastructure and operations, including switching, routing, Ethernet, TCP/IP. • Sound working knowledge of remote access technology. • Proficient and familiar with MS Office Professional Suite including the ability to fluently use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, and experience in a professional service environment, with responsibility for supporting multiple applications and network environments. • Must have Good verbal and written communications skills. • Must have very strong problem solving skills. • Must have a minimum of 4 yrs of business experience; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration may be substituted for 2 years of work experience. -- Thanks & Regards *Vanitha *Recruiter Anthem Tech Inc. 14150 A Willard Rd Suite 200 | Chantilly, VA 20151 Off: 571-252-7000 ext 102| Fax: (703) 955-7779 Email: vani...@anthemtechinc.com | Visit us at www.anthemtechinc.com Disclaimer: We respect your online privacy.
