West Marine carries the 3X shrink, glue lined tube. WM is a big chain of marine hardware stores and if looking for any low-volt electrical stuff, they have the best and most expensive stuff. Near me the are like Starbuks, one on every corner I can walk to one by my house.

This may not help you in this situation, but for connecting wiring in the #26-#22 range, especially small steppers, I like using TE/Amp MTA-100 IDC connectors. I watched ebay for a while to get a crimper at a reasonable price, but these have been reliable for me and super fast to install. The

I just use solder and tiny heat shrink tubes. Waterproof crimp-on splices are very good and I used thouse on my sailboat for wires that were submerged in saltwater in the bilge. But a 3D printer lives indoors so solder and a shrink tube for insolation and strain relief should work. On Fri, Aug
