I have a question to add into this interesting thread, which adds a
twist to Abhijit's scenario.
I have a very similar setup to the diagram below, with the added
difference that on my setup the IP addresses of the C3 switch on each
of the VLANs (10,20 and 30) is set as the default gateway
Have you tried to add a route of last resort in the switches router
configuration?
