You are missing a compiler component or the compiler itself failed to install. Put your Drake CDROM in then open /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS look for gcc files. I am at work on an NT box so I can't give you the actual name. Then as root issue rpm -i gcc_whatever_version.rpm if I remember correctly
