Thanks to all for your input. After looking at the print quality in
a local (an hours drive away) I decided that the P-400's quality
didn't justify the large price increase ... so I'm going to place
my order for the Epson 1280.

Thanks for the heads up shAf. I sure hope this fixes my problem with
Photoshop bogging down. I've had to erase the .psp files every few
days to get it back to normal speed.

My Hitachi CM741 has been on for 12 to 16 hours a day for five years
without a single glitch.
My Mag MX17F/S has been on and off for a couple of hours a day for
five years, and on for 12-16
