Found the log file. The log is mostly errors of the type: lserver Sat Feb 23 16:40:14 2013 INET/inet_error: read errno = 104 with this type of error occurring a couple of times in a few minutes, then not repeating for 3 to 8 hours. Otherwise, the only entries are startup and shutdown,

Hello, Did you perform test backup/restore before that? Did you check that all UDFs are in place and they have adequate Windows and Linux versions? Did you test your application with Firebird 2.5.2? Help? return to Interbase 6. It will be the cheapest and the most effective solution.
