I just upgraded the firmware to 1.3.0 after loading the new firewire
driver 3.4.0 rebooting after the firewire driver. 1.16.2 comes up with
invalid number of channels. I'm cold booting that system right now.

Interesting article:
http://gcn.com/articles/2009/03/09/nasa-software-radios.aspx?s=gcndaily_160309
Quote: NASA plans on buying more than 1,000 STRS-based radios between
now and 2025, but the price of these radios — between $1 million and $5
million — makes STRS radios a potentially $1
I would like to suggest that PWRSDR be modified so that the cursor must
be in the frequency display window before keyboard entries are accepted
to change frequencies. (personally I think keyboard entry of a
frequency is a useless feature and if it could be toggled off, so much
the better)

Interesting article:
The driver probably did load correctly.
Turn off the FLEX-5000
Uninstall the FLEX-5000 driver
Reboot the PC
Install the FLEX-5000 driver
Reboot the PC
The turn the FLEX-500 back on after the PC has fully rebooted.

Been dere, dun dat, din even get a sweatshirt.
As I 'RUN' a lot, I click on 'Save' when I get rolling to save my vfo
settings
so when I do screw up and send the vfo to 6 meter digital, a quick hit of
'Restore' gets me back in ball park.
I'd like to be able to 'selectively' turn off
Jerry,
Did you upgrade your FireWire driver? You have to remove the previous
version in the Add/Remove programs, REBOOT, then install the new
FireWire driver 3.4.0.4877 and reboot. Also there is an service pack
for .NET1.1, usually Windows update will catch that.

In the test branch, which is being made ready for the roll out of the
3000, I convinced the powers to allow me to make some changes which
have been fleshed out in one of my branches.
SVN: 2797 in the test branch
Major reorganization of the receiver flow graph. ANF and NR redone.

Id be interested in seeing screenshots of the SetupDSPAGC/ALC page as to
what settings people are using now with this latest SVN 2799.
I'm listening to 30 psk and the wide strength variation between signals is
making me reach for AF control a lot.
How do you guys smooth it out?
BTW: D44TXF
The defaults except for AGC Max Gain (which is actually AGC-T) and that is set
between 70-80.
AGC is set for Fast
Remember to make sure NR and ANF is not on when running digital modes.
