Hi ?Have a quick question, have been running my 5000a on a? HP? p-4? at 3.0 with 2 gig of ddr ram. I have NEVER had any problems with this simple system and the 5000a. I have the prescribed fire wire card and run the system in safe mode. My cpu usage meter is always very low. at 192. ?? I guess

I agree with Cecil. When I first got my 5000A I was running it on a Pentium 4, single core, non-hyperthreading, 2.8Ghz cpu with 1.5GB of memory in an older HP Vectra desktop. It ran beautifully, rarely getting over 15% usage, but I didn't have any other stuff running in the background. As soon

Ed, If you are wanting to play back a file on the air, you must press either the MOX button on the console first or your PTT, then the Play button. Otherwise it is offset by 9 khz.. If you just want to hear it locally, either reduce your power to 0 , and hit the PTT or play back
