The Trimble Thunderbolt is available on EBay for about $120... I have
two of them You have to build a small PSU (for which details are
readily available on the internet), the diagnostic and monitoring
software is also available.
Interfacing one to a Flex requires a small attenuator
If you don't want the hassle of mounting an external GPS antenna, the
LPRO-101 Rubidium sources are still available at $100.
Better than 10Hz at 10Gigs, or a few milli-Hertz at 10Megs, and
adjustable if you want to get it spot on. More than good enough for any
HF application. Very good phase
