i was thinking i need to do it just when install ?

I am also sorry you are having problems. I think what Tim was saying is that
there are no guarantees on this unless you buy something that has worked for
someone else.
What Aspire One laptop do you have? What else do you do with it besides run
the Flex?

My experiences are similar to Hank's. I'd highly recommend the minimum
configuration specify a multi-core processor.
I originally ran PowerSDR and my Flex 1500 on a 2 GHz Pentium 4 with
1.25 GB of RAM. As it was the DPC checker showed it should have worked
well but CW worked poorly at best
