Thanks to everyone for the comments.
It does seem that the fluctuations in the output power meter readings are an
artefact of the sampling/averaging process that drives the meter display. I
will have a play with the multimeter options to see if there is a setting

Hi ZacK!
Be very carefull when doing this! I burned out my receiver input when
trying this.
In the current software, there is no relay disconnect of the external
receiver input when you are transmitting ( when you split RX and TX
paths ). Any transmitted RF that is picked up by the

Thanks Bill,
Looks like you get the same results with your F-1500. The high cut-off I can
set is also 3650Hz. Wonder if Dudley or Tim could comment on this if this is a
limitation of the F-1500 or PowerSDR. I was getting into this when I was
trying to setup a MaCRO for Win-Warbler which

Sounds like a sound card issue expect the VAC seems

John,
IMO, PowerSDR is correct in limiting the transmit bandwidth to less
than 4khz, otherwise you could transmit a wider bandwidth signal than is
allowed for that frequency.

I posted this last night after I started the thread; It does work if I put
the loop on Receiver 1 and pick RX1 IN but if I have an antenna on ANT1 I get
no signal at all when I pick ANT1 in Receiver 2 which is very weird.
What could be causing this?

I just got me a flex 3000 last week and so far I have been very
pleased with it. I have been having one little annoyance that I
wanted to see if I could get some help with. Each evening if I have
opportunity to play on the radio I will come in and power up the Flex.
But when I give it few
Michael,
Windows tends to shutdown devices not being used, and slow processors
down. If you go to Windows Control panel, then to Power Options,
set for High Performance .. Disable any screen savers..
Try this, it helps on some Win7 and Vista systems.
