Thanks for the help all. It will be great to have all the videos in one
place so when I go to set up audio etc the info will be there at the click
of a mouse.

My PSDR 2.7.2 is working fine after a couple of weeks now.
However, in the process of getting it squared away I did notice the Latency
Monitor was showing some larger than expected DPCs attributed to my NVIDIA
(GEForce GT440) video card. The latest drivers for the board have been
installed.

Thats why I don't install nvidia cards in my computers! It seems they will
introduce a release with DPCs once or twice a year. Usually device
manufacturers have crappy drivers early on then they get better as time
marches onwards. No so with nvidia, they veer between great and horrible

Folks
If anyone is interested I've written a program that intercepts CAT commands
from SATPC32 configured as a TS-2000, massages them into Flex PowerSDR CAT
and Passes them on to the Flex Radio.
It was developed primarily for my own use with a Flex-5000 with V/U option
and really
Is there a list somewhere of all the good PowerSDR setup videos available
on Youtube?

I have an NVidia GT 530 on my 3.4 GHZ 12 GB RAM Dell 8300. I also have
noticed most of the DPCs arising out of NVidia. I have disabled most of
their add-on like the End User Experience piece and the gaming piece. My
sense is that if Neal doesn't install them, I will not do so in the future.

I use an NVIDIA GTS450 and have never experienced any problem whatsoever.

FWIW I run a GTX460 in an i7 Win7/64 based system - P6X58D-E mobo (put together
about 3 years ago).
While I noticed very high DPC spikes in the earliest releases of the Nvidia
drivers for this family of display cards, the last few releases including the
current one (331.65) do behave very well

I feel very bad about sending out this email . I have lost all of the
digital setup and user information that I used to have on my computer a

All Nvidia drivers are not created equal. I update, only to revert. On win7
with GTX 550 I'm using

Thanks for all the several great replies!
I had never looked at all of the junk that NVDIA had loaded onto the machine
in addition to the display driver. There were a couple of 3D utilities and
even something call HD Audio. Blew all that junk away, and the DPCs
dropped dramatically. Will keep
