When you say above the threshold point do you mean in a positive (going
to the right) position so that the signal is squelched? Is that where
you see the high CPU?
I do not see any difference between non-squelched and squelched FM in
regards to the CPU utilization.

FM Squelch is always on. You can not turn it off as it is integral part
of the FM RX signal chain. You need to set it to a value of 0 to
un-squelch.

At full current draw for a FLEX-5000 (~ 22 amps), 6' of #12 wire @ 12 volts
will have a 0.42 V loss. Add 6 more feet and you are at 0.84 V. This is
the worst case scenario. At receive when the current draw is 2 amps, the
voltage drop for 12' of #12 wire is 0.08 V.

Click Tune for digital modes is different. It uses the Click Tune
offset value to mode the signal to the ASFK offset value. For DIGL
(RTTY) that is 2210 Hz which is center between Mark and Space.

The FLEX-5000 Owner's Manual v1.14.0 is now available for download. This
version of the manual contains all of the updates for PowerSDR 1.14.0
including updates related to the new Firewire device driver.
SDR-1000 users should use this manual too because it does describe

There seems to be a few isolated issues occurring as noted on the Reflector.

I'd start at 48 KHz sampling rate, 2048 audio buffers (PowerSDR Firewire).

The ATU mounts on top of the PA board (on top of the heat sink) and the RX2
mounts on the other side (bottom) of the heatsink on top of the TRX board.
