Without going back to the original posting, I suspect that the PMC does
not want to have to sort out candidates. It is our job to decide on two
nominations to the PMC, which the PMC intend, IIUC, to simply accept. I
haven't followed the discussion beyond that, and I nominated only

uri-specification. Uri specifications are defined in the spec as follows:

Hello there,
after some research I found and fixed a bug in the PS renderer
that can be a real nuisance.
The problem is as follows: The ascii (and Unicode) minus
character is mapped to the hyphen character by the PDF
renderer. The PostScript renderer instead maps it tho the
minus character. This
