According to Shlomo Perets' website
(http://www.microtype.com/FM_bugs.html) people have reported issues
with FM7.x and Save As PDF when using Win98, or tagged PDF, or custom
page sizes, or Acrobat 6.x.
We seem to be fine with it, but we're not using any of the above. ;-)

I got a call today from a recruiter and he wanted to know what a media
technical writer is. I am not sure whether it was a test of my knowledge or
whether he was looking for information himself.
Here is the total job description I received minus his name (to protect

Most ads for media tech writer I've seen are exactly the same as what
you'd expect from a tech writer. Why they add media to the title, I

At Oracle I had to deal with all four OSes: Win32, Solaris, Linux, and
HP-UX. I didn't bother with conditionals, though. We had one manual to
