Yes, I found that approach mentioned in my archives for this list, and tried
it. Did improve things a bit – the menu is more readable and the icons show up.
Although still very small for both.
I just have to be very careful with my mouse positioning when I click, but I am

My external monitor isn't a retina display, but it's a high-res
(2560x1600) Dell that seems to have needed similar settings. I'm
running Windows via Parallels on my 2017 MacBook Pro, and the relevant
setting in my shortcut menu for starting FrameMaker (Frame 2015 -- I
haven't used

stead of 'Best for Retina'. The problem is that the FM user interface is not
prepared for high-resolution display. This was only resolved by the Adobe
development team with version FM 2017.
