I think that's wise, in that you can sell the same reversal film in 16mm, 8mm, and for 35mm stills, without modification, and there will be basically no competition in the market for either of the three. I'm a little skeptical of trying to make so many different speeds at once, but think the

Very sorry to hear this.  I've been using Cinemalab for the past year and Robert and Dan have always done really good work for me.   Robert told me today they plan to push forward with scanning and digital preservation.  I'm certainly glad they'll survive in some incarnation, but their

Denver real estate is really messing up small businesses. It looks like DR5.com is out of business for a while. They got forced out of their building as well. On Tue, Feb 16, 2016 at 9:45 AM, wrote: > This is sad to hear! I remember those 4am drop-offs fondly as well... > > >

EMM/EKS lamps are all over ebay quite cheap compared to other AV lamps. As for splices you might try redoing any that are causing problems. Use a good splicer--it is nearly impossible to get the tape and sprocket holes aligned perfectly by hand. With 16mm you can usually get by with splicing

Dear, When I project my 16 films on my Bell & Howell TQ3 projector , sometimes, with starting the projector or when a splice passes the gate, the image starts to skip (or "jump"). Does anyone know this phenomenon and what to do about it? Often, during projection, I'm on the other side of the
