Anyone heard of any university/college scholarships for studies or
community involvement related to open source or BSD?
I only found one: http://opensourcescholars.org/ but date seems to be a
couple years old. It is about: This is a scholarship to motivate young
adults to become involved in
I know that these versions, and even some history, were removed. But
does anyone still have a personal copy (such as tar of binaries or
source or cvs history) of NetBSD 0.8 or FreeBSD 1.0 that they can
provide to me? Thank you.

I am looking for URLs discussing including GPL and other licenses in print
compilations. Or share your advice here...
Over 95 of the compilation is BSD licensed but some content is covered
under GPL, IBM, and other licenses. All content is clearly separated.

Just to let you know, the http://www.pkgsrc.org/ collection mostly works
fine on FreeBSD.
It provides a quarterly stable branch that only has updates for security
fixes and other essential updates. This has been maintained for a few
years now. The quarterly stable branch is not scheduled on

pc98, ppc, sparc64, sun4v, and xbox. I know this is a volunteer
project, I know you really can't keep people from tinkering with what
they want to tinker with, but xbox? It seems to me to be a waste of
resources to concentrate on anything besides i386/AMD64.there's

Are there any active torrents for FreeBSD ISOs?
I used torrent file as found via FreeBSD 5.4 announcement. But for over 30
minutes ctorrent timed out attempting to retrieve it.
