After some debugging I found that VBoxSVC throws an exception because
file /root/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml is missing.
Who is supposed to create this file?

Probably kldload fusefs isn't loaded (until Saturday)
Yes, fuse.ko had to me copied from /usr/local/modules to /boot/kernel
and then kloaded.
