the kernel with i586 support just in case gcc-4.2.1 has introduced a code generation incompatibility that might affect my VIA CPU somehow. Any suggestions gratefully received. Please CC me as I'm not subscribed to the list. Regards, Neil Darlow

Correct installer behaviour?
