around to burning a test DVD after installing about 2.5 inches of
semi-rigid foam under the machine to dampen any local vibration.
In designing the test, I was under the mistaken impression that buffer

/boot/loader.conf:
atapicam_load=YES
hw.ata.atapi_dma=1
/etc/devfs.conf:

ls -la /dev/acd0
