my IP address is changed by the provider every day, so I registered a
name at a commercial provider (those are the 12 € mentioned below). I
think there is also the possibility to register a sub-domain with some
people supporting the freedombox. Check the manual.Next I set up DynDNS

I cannot help in the TP-Link issue.
But if your router has Wlan, as I think, you actually do not need it on the
box. E.g.I am not using my box as router.
