shared with each other. Can someone point me to what I need to look at to
determine how to setup a user that can only be used when it comes from a
specific hotspot server. I am not sure if I should use nas or groups or
both.
Thanks

So just set Auth-Type for the user to
Reject. We do this for suspended (non paying users) until they pay up. No
changing password this way.

Any idea why freeradius thinks the passwords don't match?

I don't mean to complain about this, but I thought it would be worthwhile if
I reported the issue. I would love to hear the thoughts of anyone who has
had a similar issue, or knows whether this has been fixed.
Thank you,

have edited the dictionary.cisco file and removed other entry and added
ATTRIBUTE pre-session-time198 integer Cisco
Still coming out
Cisco-AVPair = pre-session-time=7
Am I still missing something?

Not sure if caps is important but they are there eg
ATTRIBUTE Cisco-PreSession-Time 198 integer Cisco
Or should I edit this (left this as the original standard was) to reflect
pre-session-time ?

instead of the * the user is accepted.
gnuradius has a feature where you can specify what the chars the username will
accept but I much prefer the functionality of freeradius. What could I do to
accept the * in the username?

Hi
Thanks that works a treat by allowing the * as a safe char.
I would suggest it as a config option as this almost made me turn to gnu
radius as this has it already as an option.
Thanks again
